If you’re going to move into an RV, you’re going to have to sell all your stuff. Let me tell you, it ain’t easy. No one wants to buy your stuff and if they do, it won’t be for much. Your crap isn’t worth what you think it is.
You have a number of options to free yourself from things. You can use Craigslist, OfferUp, Facebook Groups, Auctions, Estate Sales….but we chose the dreaded Garage Sale.
See how ours went:
We had a lot of stuff and there is still so much to go! For months prior to the garage sale were were packing up boxes and hoarding them all over the house.
Then came the big day where we hauled all our crap on to the front lawn and sold it to random strangers.
It was a long two days, but it’s done and now we prepare for the next garage sale. This was all the crap we didn’t need or want, we haven’t even gotten to the good stuff yet. We still have to get rid of our household goods and furniture. This was just random junk!!!
We have been working really hard to get rid of it all though. We have spent the last few months donating clothes, giving things away and selling random odds and ends on Craigslist, Facebook Groups and OfferUp.
How did you free yourself from all your crap?
