Our Experience:
As mentioned above, we were not picky when choosing our destination. Lazydays had an open spot and we were desperate for a place to stay other than a Walmart Parking lot.  We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed Lazydays. In fact, we felt spoiled with the daily newspaper service and curbside trash pick up!
We pulled in late and they were very accommodating. We were not the only ones rolling in at 10pm and we hate doing that, but it was unavoidable. Traffic getting out of the path of a Category 4 Hurricane was not pleasant! It took us over 5 hours to make the 3 hour trip.  We pulled in and check in was a breeze, they led us by golf cart to our spot.  It was dark and tight, but we slid in with ease thanks to the neighbor across from us moving their car. it’s definitely not spacious here, but it’s not a terribly tight squeeze. There’s enough room to put out your awning and stretch out on your grassy area. The spots that are along the outer edge of the resort tend to have a little more space, or at least it seems that way!

Lazydays has plenty of activities and areas of interest including pickle ball courts, a playground and a game room. The pool area is very nice and well maintained.

Did I mention that Lazydays is dog friendly? Not only are they dog friendly but they also do not discriminate against breeds! Our happy pittie had a great time at Lazydays in the dog run and on the doggy agility course!

As you wind down your day, the restaurant and bar is your next stop! Shame on us for not grabbing a menu, but the drinks sure do have a kick! We were totally bummed that we didn’t know about it until our last day. They had live music, food and drinks! Plus, the whole restaurant is modeled after an RV! Check it out!!!

The campground is located adjacent to the Lazydays RV dealership. Every 20 minutes you can catch a cute little trolly over to the dealership to check out the massive amount of RVs for sale.  While you are there, you can turn in the food tickets that you got when you checked into your campsite that entitle you to free breakfast lunch. Yes, it’s free….is it good? Eh. It’s cafeteria style food so it’s not amazing, but it’s food and it’s free.  On Friday for lunch we had a fish sandwich and hamburger and on Saturday we were able to catch both breakfast and lunch. For breakfast they had powdered eggs, bacon (or sausage) and potatoes. For lunch we had the BBQ chicken sandwich. The dealership also serves free hot dogs and chips between 11-3pm to everyone there! Oh, and while you’re in the cafeteria make sure you stop by the check-in that is up against the far wall. If you give them your contact information, you get a free gift. We got a free stadium blanket. Pretty cool for picnics!
I would also like to mention how Lazydays handled storm evacuees this weekend. We were so happy to see that they allowed campers to pull in and boondock in their parking lots. There was literally no where to go, everything was booked and hundreds of thousands of people were fleeing. Hotels up and down the entire west coast were booked solid, Walmart parking lots were full and so were all of the surrounding campgrounds. Lazydays didn’t have to, but they opened their lot to boondockers and that was a really cool thing for them to go. Way to go Lazydays! You get an A+ in our book!
